Choosing Public means that the event can be viewed by everyone in your list of clients.

Choosing Private means that the event is specifically for the individual or group of individuals that are assigned to the event.
> Can be both mandatory or optional.
> Must assign clients or group of clients.
> Can only be seen by those individuals you assign.
> Can be both a recurring event or a one-off event.
